I've been having a lot of fun with Distress Inks lately!
I made this card with Distress Inks and
"Bethlehem with Verse" (#22701)
from Eureka! Stamps
I started out with a piece of white card stock.
I pulled out any Distress Inks I had that were
purple or blue and started inking it.
I recently went to visit a friend
and we did a "bit" of shopping and
I found some great deals on Distress Ink,
so my collection of colors has gotten quite a bit bigger.
I am loving playing with them.
I started applying purples at the bottom
and then the blues at the top
and overlapped them a bit.
The Bethlehem with Verse image is one large stamp
with the silhouette , the sky and verse all in one stamp.
Very easy to make a card, make a background and stamp it on.
I did layer mine onto a couple pieces of card stock,
purple and dark blue, before putting it onto the white card base.
I love how this turned out, I think it's quite striking.
Thanks for stopping by today. Leave a comment if you will
and come again soon.
Until next time, Happy Crafting!
