Create

"A fun card!"
That's what my son called this card when I showed it to him.

Welcome!
Today I'm showing you this card that I made using the
"Art Palette" (#19601) image from QKR Stampede.
The "Art Palette" was stamped onto water color paper and colored with water color crayons and fussy cut.

I used papers from my scrap stash to put this card together and I was so glad when I found that polka dot paper.  I thought it was perfect to give that fun feel to the card. Guess Jaryd thought so too!

The multi-colored ribbon is some that we have at
My Happy Place Scrapbooking for our scrappers/crafters
to use as they wish.
It worked perfect with the card, don't you think?

I used rub ons for the 'create'

Lastly, I added a bit of Glossy Accents to the paint on the palette and brushes.

Thanks for stopping by today.  I hope you'll leave a comment and let me know what you think.

Until next time, Happy Crafting!

Bugs and sunshine

Hello stampers!
Today I have a card that I made with
Lady bug border (#25302) from Eureka! Stamps
and My Sunshine (#9302) from QKR Stampede.
I wanted to make something from my scrap stash, so I stamped the Lady bug border onto red card stock  and used white embossing powder to heat emboss the My Sunshine sentiment.

This is a great style of card to make if it is going in the mail
as it is only one layer and no bulky embellishments to increase the postage or to get crushed during it's journey.

Thank you for popping in today, I hope you will come again soon.
In the mean time, why not pop into the
online stores and see what images you might want to use for your next cards or projects.

I love this happy image.  I stamped it onto white card stock and colored it with water color crayons.
I wanted bright, happy colors because they remind me of spring, which I am hoping will be here soon.

QKR Stampede has a lot of images that will conjure up thoughts of spring.  Stop into the store and see what you can find to make a few "happy" cards.

Thanks for stopping by today.  Come again soon!

QKR Stampede March Blog Hop

Hello hoppers!
If you have come from
you are on the right track.
If not, you may want to go back to the beginning where you will find links to  all the blogs that are participating in this hop.
We have some wonderful design team members who have some inspiration for you that you won't want to miss.
Our theme this month is 'Birds" and I chose this adorable little "Happy Duckling" (#6807) from QKR Stampede for my card.
I decided that I just wanted to showcase this cute little guy on a clean and simple gift card.  I stamped Happy Duckling onto white card stock and yellow card stock.  I fussy cut the duckling and adhered it to the white card stock.  Very simple, very quick to make and perfect to go with a gift.
The "Happy Birthday" greeting is from the "Happy Birthday" set (#22803) also from QKR Stampede.
I hope you will stop in to the QKR Stampede store and see what stamps you might like that can be used for so many different occasions.

Now you will hop on to
where I'm sure you will find something wonderful.
