Anything Goes Challenge

Hi crafty people!
This weeks challenge for the
"Anything Goes"
I used a few stamps from
"Congratulations" (#5507)
"Lg Cap" (#18901) and
"Shamrock Border" (#40502)
I used all red rubber stamps,
but they also come in digi format.
Now, I know it's kind of late in the season for a graduation card,
but I really wanted to show the style of card.
I love the idea of the "belly band" on a card like this.
I simply stamped the Shamrock Border
onto some Kraft card stock,
trimmed it down and adhered it into a band around the card.
The 'Congratulations!' was embossed
with white embossing powder.
The diploma was stamped onto card stock
and fussy cut, the band was stamped onto a scrap
of card stock and also fussy cut then adhered to the diploma.

Inside, I folded over and adhered the card stock
to make a pocket where you can put
some cash, a check, a gift certificate or card,
whatever you want.
This card is simple to make and who doesn't like to receive a little something in a card?

I hope you will join the challenge this week.
Now head over to the
for more inspiration from our design team
and to find out how you can enter the challenge.
Hope you'll play along.

Happy Birthday Challenge

Hello all!
Today's challenge on the
is "Happy Birthday"
I chose to make a very simple card using
"Sunshine Day" (#15003) from

I found the patterned paper with the sun on it
and thought it would work well with that sentiment.
I simply covered the front of the card with the 'sun paper'
and trimmed it down. Sorry I don't have a clue
where this paper came from or what company made it,
it was in my scrap stash.
I stamped the sentiment with Color Box Fluid Chalk Ink
in brown and colored the little flowers
 and sun with FlexMarkers
I think this is a lovely way to wish someone a happy birthday.
I left the inside blank to add a personal note.

has lots of images and sentiments
that can be used for birthdays or any other occasion cards,
so be sure to check them out.
I hope you have been inspired in some way
and will join us in this weeks challenge.

Christmas in July challenge

Today the new Eureka! Stamps Challenge is
"Christmas in July"
I do love making Christmas cards, any time of the year.
For my Christmas card, I decided to use
"Piled High Christmas" (#23302) from

I stamped this sentiment with VersaMark ink and embossed with white embossing powder.
The gifts were made with scraps of patterned paper and crochet cotton, some I had made into "baker's twine"

This was a simple card to make, easy to replicate and uses up a lot of those little scraps.

I hope you have been inspired in some way and will pop over to the
to see the details of the challenge
and also see what other inspiration our design team has for you.

Swap card

I thought I had posted this card over a month ago,
but apparently not, so here it is now.
Better late than never!
I am in a newly formed "Swap" group
and I think I'm gonna totally enjoy this group.
We are a group of stampers that met a long time ago
online and have just reconnected and formed a group on Facebook.
Our first swap was to make a KISS card.
That is Keep It Simple Sweetheart!
I was to make a card for my friend Becky,
I knew she liked the beach, so I went with the beach theme.
I used "Shell Background" (#58102) from
I stamped the image twice onto white card stock.
Once with brown Color Box Fluid Chalk Ink
and once with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink.
I used the brown one for the background
and colored the shells with FlexMarkers on the black one.
I fussy cut the shells and then adhered them to the background with
foam tape.

It's hard to get a good shot showing the dimension on the card,
but this one shows a little of it.
I think Becky enjoyed receiving my card and I can't wait to see what we will be doing in our next swap.
Thanks for stopping by today!
I hope your summer is going well
and you are enjoying some beautiful weather.

Until next time, Happy Crafting!

Hitting the Beach challenge

Don't you just love a beautiful day at the beach?
I do, well I really do if it's nice and quiet
and not a lot of other people around.
This week's theme for the Eureka! Stamps Challenge is
Hit the Beach.
I chose to use 3 different images from
"Baby Feet" (#40101)
"Bubbles Background" (#58101)
"Beach Frame" (#5601)
I made this layout with some pictures
from when we were in Florida in February of 1995.
You can see how far behind I am in my scrapbooking!
I used Baby Feet to make the footprints
in the sand for the border and the title.
The Bubbles Background is used as a mat
for my son's picture on the bottom left
and the Beach Frame was used for the picture
of both kids on the top right.

I love stamping on layouts and I hope
I have inspired you to do the same.

Another Stars and Stripes

Happy 4th of July!
Here is another stars and stripes card I have to show you.
I used
"Lg Patriotic Star" (#11603) from
I stamped the stars with Distress ink and fussy cut them.
This card was very easy to make, by layering a couple scraps
of card stock in a stripe and punching the circles with
a circle punch.
Easy peasy!

Thanks for stopping by!
Stay safe this 4th and have some fun too!

Until next time, Happy Crafting!
