Sentimental Challenge

Hello blog fans!
It's time for another Eureka! Stamps Challenge.
This weeks theme is
"Be Sentimental"
I decided to use
"Tree Losing Leaves" (#34502) and
"When I see" (#34902)

I used water color crayons and an
water brush to create the background.
I then stamped Tree Losing Leaves
onto the background piece.
I used Onyx Black VersaFine ink,
but stamped it off once onto scrap paper,
as I wanted the tree to be a little lighter
and for the sentiment to be more prominent.
These were amongst the first images I got from
Eureka! Stamps and I still love them!
Thanks for stopping by today.
I hope you were inspired in some way.
I hope you'll pop over to the
for all the details on the challenge and join in the fun.

Until next time, Happy Crafting!

Dog Days of Summer Challenge

Time for another Eureka! Stamps Challenge.
For all the details hop on over to the
then join in the fun.
This week the theme is
"Dog Days of Summer"
What is more "summer" than swimming?
So for my card I decided to use:
"Fish Bowl" (#6203)
"Sm Fat Fish" (#6204)
"Bubble Background" (#58101)
I made 2 cards for this challenge.
For the one above I stamped the Fish Bowl onto white card stock.
I folded it so the top of the bowl was the fold of the card
and cut around the bowl.
I colored the sand and stones at the bottom of the bowl.
I then stamped Bubble Background onto blue paper
with VersaMark ink,
fussy cut the water and adhered it to the fishbowl.
Small Fat Fish was stamped onto the bubble background
as well as onto white card stock.
The fish was colored with FlexMarkers and fussy cut,
then adhered over the image on the bubble background.
I added a bit of Glossy Accents to the bubbles from the fish.

Now for the other card that I made.
I used the same stamps,
but didn't like at all how the card was turning out.
I wanted it to look like you were seeing through
the top of the fish bowl to the "wall paper" behind,
but it just wasn't doing it for me,
so I set this card aside and made the other one.
I may pull this out and "fix" it, just don't know what I'll do with it.
Any suggestions?
Thanks for stopping by.
I hope you are inspired in some way.
Leave me a comment, if you will, about how to 'fix' my card.
What would you do with it?

Until next time, Happy Crafting!

Our Art Swap Card

Hi all!
Today I'd like to share the card I made for
Our Art Swap Group.
This one was to be black and white and one other color.
I stamped "Baroque Background" from Eureka Stamps
onto white card stock, then punched out 4 squares.
These were adhered to black card stock, then onto red card stock.
I used the Swiss Dots embossing folder for the white card stock layer.
I embossed the bottom and the top of the white card stock leaving a space without embossing where I stamped the sentiment
which is from
The card below is the first card I made for this swap,
but it wasn't just what I wanted,
so I put that one aside and made the one above.

Thanks for stopping by today to see what I've been up to lately.
Please leave a comment if you will and come again soon.

Until next time, Happy Crafting!

Summer Blooms and Blossoms Challenge

This week the challenge on the
is "Summer Blooms and Blossoms"
I chose to make a project using several different stamps from
"Butterfly and Sunflower" (#20801) flower, blue butterfly and grass
"Butterfly Background" (#58501) for that little purple butterfly
"Eureka Butterfly" (#9702) yellow butterfly
"Sunshine Day" (#15003) sentiment
I also used 2 stamps from
sister company of Eureka! Stamps.
"Sunflower Border" (#17501) and
"Flower Border (#17915)
These 2 image are the same, but different sizes.
I used red rubber for all my images,
but they are all available in digital format.

I started with a 6 pack pop carrier
and covered it with card stock.
I then stamped all my images onto white card stock.
I colored them with FlexMarkers and fussy cut them all.
The Sunshine Day sentiment was stamped
directly onto the card stock on the carrier.

I thought this would make a cute carrier for utensils when I have a picnic.

I hope you will stop by the
 Eureka! Stamps Blog
where you will find all the details about the challenge.
Come and join the fun of our weekly challenges!
Our design team has lots of inspiration for you,
so pop over and take a look.

Thanks for stopping by today,
leave a comment if you will and come again soon.

CAS stands for Clean And Simple
and that is the challenge this week on
I chose to use
"Lg Tree" (#15302) from
I stamped the image onto some light blue card stock
with Color Box Fluid Chalk Ink in brown.
I used a red rubber stamp, but this is also available in
digital format.
I used my Score Pal to emboss the lines onto the card front,
to give a little bit of interest, yet keep the card simple.

I hope you will stop over to see
what the other design team members have made to inspire you at the
then join in the fun of the challenge.
