A QKR Christmas card

Today I'm posting a card I made with a QKR Stampede stamp. This stamp is called Christmas Cactus and I think it's pretty cute.
I stamped it with Versafine black onyx ink then colored it with watercolor crayons. I used Fun Flock on the cactus, you can't see in this picture how really neat it looks, but the entire cactus is fuzzy with flocking. I thought it made it look more "cactusy" (is that even a word?)
I also put a little red flocking on the snakes Santa hat. Fun!

Once I had the image and the flocking done, it looked too plain so I used the watercolor crayons to color the sky and grass.

I rounded the corners, adhered it to some red cardstock, rounded those corners and have a cute western Christmas card.

Thanks for stopping by to see what I have posted. Leave me a comment and become a follower if you wish.

Until next time, Happy Crafting!

  2. Another cute card, Kristie! You are on quite a roll!! I love the background that you created; it does make it look like that cactus is out in the middle of . . . somewhere! LOL I used some of my flock for Easter cards . . . may have to pull it out again soon!
