Pre-K Graduation Banner

Hello everyone!
I hope you are having a beautiful summer.
We had some crazy hot days last week, but now it's cooled
down and is much nicer.
Today I'd like to show you the banner I made for my
granddaughter, Marie for her Pre-K graduation.
After graduation we went back to their house for a little
party of cupcakes and fun.
Click on each picture and you'll be able to see it better.
I chose pictures from her first day of school, through
to the end of school.
I used little banner stickers to put Pre-K graduate across the
top of the banner
All the pictures were strung on curling ribbon and
curls tied on.
The big banner is one that I ordered from Amazon for her
and we added the one I made along the top.
Here are a few pictures taken in front of the banner.
Marie with Daddy and Mommy
With Uncle Brad
With Auntie Kelsie
With G-Ma
Kissy face from G-Ma and G-Pa
With G-Ma and G-Pa
Unfortunately we took the pictures before we got my
banner hung.

Thanks for stopping to today, come again soon.
You never know what you'll see on

Pre-K Graduation Card

Hello everyone!
It's that time of year and graduations are happening every day.
Our sweet granddaughter, Marie, graduated from Pre-K
and this is the card I made for her.
It's a very simple card, but she loved it anyway.
I wrote a personal note on the inside to her and
put a few dollars in it.
She was thrilled with that and it will go into her
piggy bank till the next time she goes on a
shopping trip.
Here is a picture of our amazing girl.
She is so proud that she'll be going to the
big kid school in the fall.

Thanks for stopping by today and I hope
you'll come by again soon.
Until then,
encourage a child!

English Muffin Bread and Oatmeal Bread, Sooooo Good!

Hello creative people!
Today I'm showing you some bread that I made.
I consider cooking and baking to be creative, so here it is.
When I was on a recent trip and scrapbooking crop with
a friend, we stopped at a market to pick up a few things.
One of the things we bought was a loaf of English Muffin Bread.
It was delicious!
I knew another friend had a recipe, so I got it
from her and made it.
Oh My Goodness!
It was really very simple to make and look how good they
turned out.
The inside is full of nooks and crannies to hold the
butter or what ever you like on it.
Toasted up with butter, sooooo delicious.
And, yes, that is toasted, I like my toast very light.
Here is the recipe for this
Next time I'm going to make individual
English muffins and see how that works.
Then....
I decided it was time to try a recipe I have for
Oatmeal bread.
This too, was very easy to make and it turned out great.
Isn't it beautiful?
Nice and soft inside, great for toast or for a sandwich.
Great any way you use it.
I think I could have not let it knead quite as long
to get a more textured loaf.  I'll try that next time.

Thanks for stopping by to see what I've been up too.
I hope you'll give these recipes a try and come again soon.
Until then,
bake away!
