Shower Cards

Hello, I hope you're having a great day.
Today I'm showing you some handmade cards that
Kelsie got for her shower.
She and Brad really appreciate when things are
handmade and I always love to see what others make.
This card was made by Brad's Mom.
I love the color combination.
Such a pretty card.
Love that she added this butterfly on the inside.
This card was made by my friend Judy.
She always does a beautiful job on her cards.
Color coordinating the inside of the card and
a lovely sentiment really finish this card off nicely.
Isn't this a lovely card?  So pretty and delicate looking.
Adding a little pocket inside is perfect for giving a
gift card.  Love this idea.
I'm always impressed with the cards that others make.
So different than my own style, but I love them all.

Thanks for stopping by today, I hope you
have been inspired in some way and will come again soon.
Until then,
create a card for someone you love.

I Do Crew Shirts

Hello crafty people!
Kelsie got married in May and before that
she had a bachlorette party.
I was asked to make some shirts for
Kelsie and her bridal party.
Each of the gals gave me a shirt and I
cut the HTV and pressed it onto the shirts.
Here is how they turned out.
Obviously, this is Kelsie's shirt.
Here's a close up, her's was done with HTV that
has sparkly stars, sorry they are hard to see.

Here are the ones for the wedding party.
Kelsie with Sara, my daughter in law.
Asher, my grandson, was in attendance too.
Sara was her Matron of Honor.
Kelsie with her Maid of Honor, Amanda
Kelsie with Colleen, her Friend of Honor.
The whole bridal party.

Kelsie with me.
We went to It All Makes Scents, which is
a shop that sells hand made candles.
We each got to make our own candle
and chose our scent.
It was a fun activity.
At the end, I left and the
"youngins" went to dinner
and then back to Sara's to relax and socialize.

Thanks for stopping by today,
I hope you enjoyed your visit
and will come again soon.
Until then,
remember a fun get together.

For the Flower Girl

Hello, I hope you're having a great day.
Today I am showing you what Kelsie gave Marie.
Marie is my 2.5 yr old Granddaughter, she was the flower
girl for Kelsie and Brad's wedding.

Her tote bag was a little different than the ones the
bridal party ladies were given.  It's a little more
Marie sized, but it was with the same type of
HTV and design.

This is her cosmetic bag, which Kelsie put all her jewelry
for the wedding in.  Unfortunately, I don't have pictures of
it all.
The back of hers has the wedding date on it.
Since the theme of the wedding was
"It was written in the stars"
Kelsie asked me to make a star stuffie for Marie.
I crocheted this for her.
She also got a "Flower Girl Bear" for Marie,
this she got from someone on Etsy.
Here is a picture of Marie with her
"Wedding earrings" on.
Of course they were stars.
Marie loved all her gifts from
Auntie Kelsie and Uncle Brad.
She did a beautiful job as flower girl.

Thanks for stopping by,
come again soon.
Until then,
enjoy crafting!

Gifts for the Bridal Party

Hello Everyone!

Today I'd like to show you the gifts that Kelsie gave the
ladies in her bridal party.
I helped her with the tote bags and the cosmetic bags,
the rest she took care of.

First we have Sara, she is my daughter in law, she
was the Matron of Honor.

Kelsie did the designing for the bags and I did the cutting
weeding and pressing.  I used HTV in both regular and metallic.

The date of the wedding was on the back of each tote.

Inside, Kelsie went all out for her girls.
The champagne flute and the mug she got from
someone on Etsy.  The picture at the top of each
different girls "post" is what was on the mug.

They each received a necklace, a bracelet with
their astrological sign and earrings.
There were actually more earrings for them to choose
from.  All the jewelry was in rose gold,
which was one of their wedding colors and the
color of her rings.

This is Amanda, she has been besties with Kelsie
for 15 yrs and is my #2 daughter.
She was the Maid of honor.

Here are her bags,

and her gifts.

This is Colleen, she was her
Friend of Honor.  Colleen is her other bestie.

Colleen's bags,

and her gifts.
The ladies all loved their gifts and I loved being able
to help make them extra special.

Thanks for stopping in today,
I hope you'll come again soon.
Until then,
make someone's day special.

You Bet Giraffe I'm Cute

Good day!
I'm back, I think I've recovered from all the
busyness of the wedding, so hopefully, I'll get back
to regular posting.
I hope you are having a lovely day.
Today I'm showing you a tee shirt I made for
my Granddaughter, Marie.
I saw this idea online somewhere and knew I had to
make it for Marie.
I found a cute giraffe online that could be traced,
did a little bit of finagling with it and cut it out.
I picked one of my favorite fonts, Keep On Truckin'
and used that for the words.
I cut every thing out of HTV
and pressed it onto the shirt.
Easy peasy, and I think it's adorable.
Or course she loves the giraffe on it,
I think it's a favorite of hers.

Thanks for stopping by today,
I hope you'll come back again soon.
Until then,
find something to laugh about.
