Halloween Cards for the Grandbabies

Hello crafty people!
I love to make cards to send my grandbabies for
holidays.
Here are the cards I made for them this year for
Halloween.
I have a small stack of burlap paper and decided
it would be perfect to use for their cards
I cut out a pattern with scrap card stock
and traced it onto the back of the
burlap papers, then cut them out.
For the background on the pumpkin, I inked
some clouds for the sky and
cut green paper into grass.
I love googly eyes, so used them for the
eyes on each card.
I stamped the background on the spider card
with a stamp from my stash and
black ink.  I hung the spider with some
black thread glued to the card.
Inside the cards I used a simple
Happy Halloween
greeting.
I think the kids will like receiving these cards
 in the mail.

Thanks for stopping by today.
I hope you will stop in again soon.
Until then,
make a kid smile!

Cool Cat Halloween Cards

Hello everyone!
Today I have a couple Halloween cards to show you.
My friend gave me a die set that cuts out this
background.  There are several pieces that you
have to put together, but it's really simple.
I die cut with this set on black card stock
and 3 different colors of paper that I thought
were prefect for Halloween.
I also stamped my "cool cat" onto the orange
paper and fussy cut him.
The bats were stamped and fussy cut also
from a stamp that a friend had.
All of it was layered onto a white card stock
base.
I stamped the sentiment onto the
same papers that I used for the outside of the card,
then cut around each word and adhered them inside the
card.
For this card, I used the scraps from the
card above and cut random strips of paper.
I covered a piece of card stock with
double sided tape and put down the
strips of paper to use as the background.
I again stamped and fussy cut the cat and adhered him
with foam tape to the front of the card.
The sentiment was stamped with a stamp in my
friend stash.
Inside this card, I stamped this sentiment.
I really love how these cards turned out,
and I hope the recipients do too.

I'm glad you stopped in today,
I hope you are inspired in some way
and will come again soon.
Until then,
Happy Halloween!

Asher's First Halloween

Happy Halloween everyone!
Today I have a sweet Halloween Pumpkin to
share with y'all.
My daughter in law told me what she wanted to do
for a Halloween picture of my sweet 4 month old
grandson, Asher and wondered if I could do
something for a hat for him.
This is what I came up with.  I had no measurements
or pattern and just flew by the seat of my pants.
I had the right yarns in my stash and pulled out
the crochet hooks and got started.
I just wanted something that would sit on top
of his head, and it worked out perfect.
Is he just the cutest little pumpkin boy you
have ever seen?
I'm glad the "hat" sat on top of his head like this
rather than pull down over his head.
It's perfect, just like he is.
I hope y'all are having a fun Halloween
and enjoying all the costumes and goodies.

Thanks for stopping by today and
spending a little time with me.
I hope you'll come again soon.
Until then,
fly by the seat of your pants,
you never know how nice something
might turn out till you try.

Halloween Card for Marie

Hello and Happy Halloween!
Today I have the card I made for my
Granddaughter, Marie, for Halloween.
She is very into pumpkins right now and
when I take her for a walk, she constantly
asks to see more pumpkins.  So we look in all
the yards trying to find as many pumpkins as
we can.
I thought a pumpkin on her card would be most
appropriate.
I cut the pumpkin with my Silhouette Cameo
out of orange card stock.
There are 2 layers and the top layer was inked
just a little bit with brown ink and then popped up
on foam tape to give a bit of dimension.
The Happy Halloween was also cut with my
Silhouette using the LD Lightning font with a shadow.
The background piece is some adhesive cork that I had
in my stash.
It's all mounted on a white card base.
I think Marie will love this card!

Thanks for coming by today,
I hope you have been inspired in some way.
Come again soon,
until then,
BOOOOOO!

Halloween Cards

Hello!
I'm not a huge Halloween fan, but there are a
few kids I send cards to every year.
Today I'm showing you the 3 cards I made this year.

I stamped this image and sentiment with brown
Color Box Chalk Ink
and colored it with Arteza Colored Pencils

For this card I sketched out the goards and colored them
with colored pencils.
Inside I wrote I can't believe it's Halloween already!

I drew and colored this zom-bee with
colored pencils and made the wings with
vellum.
I think the kids I send these to will get a kick
out of them.

Thanks for stopping by today,
I hope you'll come again soon.
Happy Halloween!
