 has had a blog hop and I'm excited about this one.

Now sit back and relax

I have a lot of fun gifts to show you.

 

First up I have some gift boxes that I've created.

These boxes will hold sets of hand made cards.

I have used images from Eureka! Stamps to decorate them all.

For these first 2 boxes I used

"Holly Background" (#26701)

For the first, I stamped onto white card stock and

colored the image with water color crayons.

 

On the second box, I stamped onto white card stock, then inked it with

green distress inks and used some red Stickles for the berries.

 

Here is a view of the back of the gift box.

I can fit up to about 8 cards and envelopes

inside these boxes, depending on how many layers

and embellishments there are on the cards.

 

This next gift box was made using

"Skunk and Lights" (#10901)

I stamped the image onto white card stock,

colored the lights with water color crayons.

I then fussy cut the image and layered it onto

matching purple card stock and fussy cut it again.

It is then adhered to the box with foam tape.

I thought this patterned paper from my stash

was perfect with this little guy.

 

 

I'm using these for giving sets of cards,

but they could be used for any small gift

or perhaps a gift card.

Just wrap it in a bit of tissue and put it in the box,

maybe with a card.

The next 2 boxes were made for the same purpose,

but in a different style

For this one I used the

"Christmas Blessings" (#7304)
image and colored it with
FlexMarkers (alcohol ink)

For this next box I used

"Heart Bouquet" (#18302)

colored with water color crayons

it works great for a

birthday gift or maybe something fun

for Valentines day.

Some candy would work great in this box too.

Here I have some hand made cards

ready for giving.

My next project is something I came up with for my Mom.

She is in assisted living and wanted some little gifts
 to give some of her friends.

These are simple, quick and inexpensive little gifts

that would be great for anyone that you'd like

to give something little to,

or even for stocking stuffers.

For this one I used

"Snowman To and From" (#23705)

I stamped it, colored it and cut out

just the snowman part of the image.

Open it up and inside....

a little gift.

Hand sanitizer is easily removed for use.

For this 2nd one I used

"Snow Background" (#27301)

 

I got these hand sanitizers at the Dollar Store

for 3/$1.00

The paper is from my stash,

 a simple gift that doesn't cost a lot.

I cut out this little tree with a Sizzix die

then stamped it with

"Holly Background" (#26701)

I colored the berries with water color crayons.

Between the 2 trees is a little box that will hold a lip balm.
Or perhaps you might roll up some cash
to put inside the box.

How cute is that?
Now for my last gift idea for the hop.
For this gift card holder I used
 Baroque Background (#57701)
I stamped onto card stock with VersaMark ink
and heat embossed with white embossing powder.

Open the little purse and inside you find

a gift card.

A holder like this could be used
for any occasion or holiday.

Christmas Tag

Hello!

On Monday I shared a Christmas card that I made for the

"Tag, you're it"

Challenge on the Eureka! Stamps Blog.

Today I have another tag that I made.

For this one I used

"Snowman To and From" (#23705)

I stamped the image with Versa Fine ink

and colored it with water color crayons.

I used a glue pen and added glitter to the

shadowed areas on the snow to give it a

little sparkle.

This image was stamped with a red rubber stamp,

but like all the other images at Eureka! Stamps,

it comes in digital format also.

Eureka! Stamps Challenge

Hello!  

How's your weather?

Here in the Buffalo, New York area we are having some unbelievable weather!

I can't believe it is January and we are having 60 degree temps.

Isn't it supposed to be cold at this time of the year?

I'm not complaining though, I'm not a cold weather person!

Today's card is all about the cold.

This weeks Eureka! Stamps Challenge theme is
"Layer It Up and Let It Snow"

For my card I have used 3 different rubber stamps 

(these are also available in digital format) from

Eureka! Stamps.

"Snowy Christmas Tree" #39401

"Snowman To and From" #23705" and

"Group of Snowflakes" #16806

 

For the trees I used "Snowy Christmas Tree"

I stamped the image onto scrap paper 2 times and fussy cut them to make masks.

Then I started to make the background panel.

I stamped with 2 different colors of Distress Ink.

I did one tree at a time and as soon as it was stamped 

I quickly covered it with clear embossing powder and heat embossed it.

 I then covered the tree with the mask and repeated the process until I had a forest.

For the sky, I used the masks again to cover the trees in sections 

and colored the sky with a blending tool and Distress Ink.

The "Group of Snowflakes" was cut apart into separate flakes.

I stamped them onto the sky with VersaMark ink

 and heat embossed with white embossing powder.

To be honest, I'm not crazy about the snowflakes in the sky.  

I do love the images, but just think they are too large for this particular card.

Oh well, guess I need to show my not so great ideas too.

I stamped "Snowman To and From" onto white card stock 

and colored him with FlexMarkers and fussy cut him.  

This isn't the entire stamp, but I just wanted to use the snowman.

The snowman is layered onto the card with foam tape.

To finish up the card, I used some Frosted Lace Stickles 

to give some sparkle to the snow on the trees.

Eureka! Stamps Challenge-Make it Sparkle

Hi and welcome to my post for the

Eureka! Stamps Blog Challenge!

This week our theme is

"Make it Sparkle"

For my card I chose to use

"Snow Background" (#27301)

"Snowman Balloon" (#11805)

"Snowman To and From" (#23705) and
"Hi!" (#digi4506)

from Eureka! Stamps.

 For the background I stamped

"Snow Background"

onto black card stock with VersaMark ink. 

I heat embossed it with clear embossing powder.

I got some fine craft glitter ready then reheated the embossing,

while it was still hot, I sprinkled it with the glitter.

Since the embossing is hot, it is sticky and the glitter sticks to it.
Both of my snowmen are only parts of the image.
The smaller snowman is
"Snowman Balloon"
I stamped him onto white card stock,
colored him with FlexMarkers,
used a glue pen to cover him with glue,
added Sticky Powder
(also available through Eureka! Stamps)
heated it and while it was hot and sticky,
I added glitter. 
I fussy cut the snowman,
cutting off the bottom, gathered part of the balloon.
I used the same process to make the larger snowman from
"Snowman To and From"
and fussy cut the parts that I wanted to use.
I adhered the snowmen to the black background,
 then layered it onto a white card stock base.
The "Hi!" was printed onto white card stock
from my computer and cut to size, dash lines added
 then adhered to my card.
I hope you can see all the sparkle and shine on this card.
And I hope you won't be afraid to use glitter,
it really perks up a card or project.

Snowman tag

Hello blog fans!

I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving and didn't eat too much.

Now that Thanksgiving is passed it's really time to gear up for Christmas.

I decided to make a couple gift tags to show you.

I used

"Snowman To and From" (#23705)

from Eureka! Stamps

This first one was stamped onto white card stock and colored with FlexMarkers.  The sky is inked with a blending tool and Distress Ink (Broken China)

 

This one was stamped onto a white tag and colored with FlexMarkers.

They didn't take much time to make at all and I think these little guys are adorable.
