Baby Shower Card

Good day!
Today I have a card I made for a baby shower
to show you.
I bought the svg file from the
Silhouette Design Store
and cut it on my Silhouette Cameo.
As fine as some of the cuts are, it was an
easy one to cut and weed.
I adhered the die cut to the background paper,
added the cloud with the greeting and
then added it all to a white card base.
To be honest, I actually cut the image larger
than I intended, so I made it into a square card,
but I'm glad, as I like how it turned out.
I wrote a personal note inside the card to go
with the shower gifts.

Thanks for stopping by today,
I hope you have been inspired in some way.
Come again soon.
Until then,
embrace your "mistakes"
As I always say, there are no mistakes in
crafting, only chances to be more creative.

Baby Shower Invitations

Hello everyone!
Today I'm showing you the baby shower
invitations that I helped my daughter in law, Sara,
make for her sister's shower.
Sara did the designing with Cricut
design space and sent me the
invitations to print.
I printed them for her,
then we got together to finish them.

This is the front of the invitation that I
printed.

This is the back of the invitation.

She picked out a couple vinyls for us to work with.
This was the first time we had tried the Joann's brand of
vinyl, and I have to say we loved working with it.

Here is the pink, ready to cut the roses.

Here is the purple, ready to cut the names.

They all cut out beautifully and weeded very easily.

The roses were added to the unicorns
and look beautiful.

And the names turned out beautiful too.
I wish you could really see how beautiful
the foil vinyl looks.  It really makes the
invitations pop!

I adhered the front and back panels to
purple card stock and they were done.
When her sister got hers in the mail, she was
thrilled with how they turned out.
Sara and I were happy with the end
result too.

We also made these little Diaper Raffle
tickets too.
I think they are adorable.
Sara is making some decorations for the shower too.
I'll try to get some pictures of them to share with
y'all soon.  They are absolutely adorable.
I do love having a crafty daughter in law!

Thanks for stopping in to see what I've been up to.
Hope if you're having some of this cold and snowy
weather that you are getting a chance to do some crafty
projects.
Please come again soon and see what else I've been up to.
Until then,
stay warm and have some fun crafting.

Baby Gift Tag

Hi there!
Welcome, I hope you'll take time to have a look
around on Kristie Kreates.
Today I have a quick post for you.
I was recently invited to a baby shower and
wanted to make a tag that was a little different.
I used
"Baby Zebra" stamp from Eureka Stamps.
I stamped it then colored it with
colored pencils.
After fussy cutting it I attached an action wobble
to the back, then attached it to a tag I made from
a watercolor background I found in my stash.
I punched a hole in the top and tied it to the
gift with ribbon.

Thanks for popping in for this quick
post, I hope you enjoyed it and will come
again soon.
You never know what you'll find on
Kristie Kreates!

Baby Boy and B-day love

Hello Everyone!
Today I have a few cards to share with you.
A few weeks ago I shared this card and this one
using the same style and techniques that I used for these cards.
I needed a baby shower card and thought this would be perfect
for it.
So I made this Baby Boy card.
I was playing with the colors and blending them
and had made 2 more heart panels and made them into
birthday cards.
These are not standard sized cards, so I used my
to make envelopes for them.
If you are interested in how I made this watercolor piece,
you can see this video on Kristina Werner's Blog.
I get so much inspiration from her!

Thanks for stopping in today!
I've been away for a bit on a little vacation
and crafting weekend.
I'll be posting what I made on my weekend away
soon.
Until then, enjoy some creative time!
