My Other Pages

To make it easier to read about our trip to Ireland, I have made a page that is just for that. There is a tab above for Ireland Trip 2014 or click on the Home tab to read my other posts. I have also created a new page for My Weight Loss Journey if you are interested in that, click on the tab above.

Another oldie, but goodie.

Hello friends!

I have been thinking a lot about past projects lately and thought I would share one of my favorites with you.

It took a bit for me to find it, but finally I clicked on the right date and there was the picture I needed.

Let me start by telling you that I have a friend, Mary, who lives in Toledo and when I go to visit I often take her some kind of little gift.  Her grandson used to live with her and John, her hubby, and I always took him some home made goodies of some kind.  One day I realized that I never take anything to John, so I decided it was about time to make something for him.

John is a pediatrician and is the president and CEO of a children's hospital, so I decided to make something for his office.  Below is a picture of the plate I made for his office.
The hippo in the center is Hugs the 'mascot' of the hospital.  I'm sure you know the rest of the characters.  I had so much fun making this for John and he loved it.  It now hangs on the wall in his office area.

Thanks for stopping by today!  I hope you have enjoyed seeing this project, leave me a comment and let me know what you think.

Until next time, Happy Crafting!
