Somebunny Loves You

Hi All!
I'm here with a couple more Easter cards for you.
These cards could actually be used in other ways,
by just putting a different sentiment inside.
I think they'd make great encouragement cards.
I stamped "Daydreaming Bunny" onto white card stock
and colored him with colored pencils, then fussy cut him.
I adhered him to the card front with an Action Wobble.
The background papers are from my scrap stash.
Here is my other one, done with different colors and
papers. The sentiment is "Some bunny"
Inside I stamped a simple Happy Easter.
Both cards are a kraft card stock base.

I hope these cards bring a smile to those who receive them.
Hope you like them too,
thanks for stopping in today.
See you again soon,
until then,
don't eat too much chocolate!

Cross with Flowers

Hello Everyone!
Here are a couple more Easter cards I made.
These are both one layer cards.
I stamped
onto white card stock and colored them
with colored pencils.
I did color the background very lightly with
blue as the white was a little to stark.
This toned it down just the right amount.
They were simply adhered to a blue card base
and Happy Easter was stamped inside.

Thanks for stopping in today,
I hope you've been enjoying this
Easter card series.
Until next time,
color something beautiful.

Dorky Bird

Hi crafty friends!
Back again with a couple Easter cards.
These cards are a little different than the
average Easter card.
I guess the only thing that makes them
Easter is the inside.
I love this Dorky Bird and thought it would
be cute to use for Easter cards.
I stamped, colored and fussy cut it, then
adhered it to the card with an Action Wobble
I think the Action Wobble makes it look like she is
waving.
The background papers are from my scrap stash.
Inside I added a panel that I stamped and colored.
I used Happy Easter and simply colored them
different for each card.

Now just to get them addressed and sent out.
Thanks for popping in,
I hope you're getting ready for Easter,
I know I am.
Until next time,
keep calm and carry on.

Easter Egg with Chicks

Hello and welcome!
Since is the week before Easter, I thought
I better get my Easter cards all posted, so here I am
back again today to show you these cards.
I stamped it onto white card stock, colored them with
colored pencils and fussy cut them.
They are both adhered to the card with action wobbles.
The above background paper is from my
scraps stash.
Both card bases are cream colored.
For this background I thought plain purple was a bit too
plain, so I used "Tulips" and stamped all over the background
and this did the trick.
Inside was stamped a simple
Happy Easter.

So glad you stopped in again today.
Until next time,
happy crafting!

Little Bunny

Hello!  Welcome back.
Easter is almost here and I'm showing y'all
some of the cards I made.  Guess I better get them
ready to send out, eh?
Today I'm showing you 3 cards of the same
design.
I had stamped and colored these little bunnies,
then couldn't decide what to do with them.
They seemed much too small to just put on the
front of a card.
Then I came up with the idea of putting them on
a small folded piece and adding that to a larger
background piece.
Inside the small "cards" I simply stamped
"Happy Easter"
I love this Easter greeting, I don't know what
company this is from, I got it in a set that was on
clearance, because it had no outer package and one
greeting was missing.
I decided the background of the "little card" needed
something, so I used a small stamp and
added some flowers to the background.
That was just the right addition to finish it off.
All the backgrounds were from my stash
and were all done on watercolor paper
and water colors of one kind or another.
Here's a close up of this last card,
I used a different little flower stamp for this one.
All the bunnies were colored with colored pencils
and then fussy cut.  They were adhered with foam tape to
the little card and it was adhered to the background with
ATG tape.
Thanks for stopping by today,
I hope you'll come again soon.
Until then,
think outside the box and try something
a little different.

Sara's Goodie Bag

Hello everyone!
Welcome back.
Today I'm showing you the goodie bag I made
for my future daughter in law, Sara.
In my last post I showed you the ones we made
for the girls in the wedding party.
I decided that Sara should have one too,
so I snuck some of the vinyl into hiding
and once she left my house after making the others
I made one for her.
When she wasn't looking I stuck it in with the others
at the bridal salon.  At first she couldn't figure it out.
What was this one with a monogram that she didn't
recognize?
Suddenly she realized that it was for her!
Her last initial would be M once she was married
to Jaryd.  She was very surprised and thrilled with it.
We hung hers outside the dressing rooms.
Here are the things I put into her bag.
I made this travel mug with
some of their engagement
photos.

Here are the rest of the things that were
in her bag.
I decided to make tags for each thing.

I didn't have a peanut stamp, so I drew them on the tag.
She loves Disney and had put a princess on each
hanger that she made for the girls, she is also a scrapbooker
and can use these stickers for her scrapbook.
Had to put something funny into the mix.
I thought this was good advice.
Another Disney themed goodie.
Hand sanitizer always comes in handy when
you are out and about shopping for wedding things.
A compact purse brush and mirror is always helpful.
And who doesn't get 'hangry' now and then?

Thanks for stopping in today.
I hope you enjoyed your visit with me
and got inspired in some way.
Hope to see you again soon,
until then
happy crafting!

Wedding Party Goodie Bags

Hello and welcome!
Today I'm showing you a project that I did with my
future daughter in law.
Sara, the girls in the wedding party and I were
going to try on dresses for the wedding and she wanted
to give them each a little goodie bag.
She told me what she wanted and we decided on this design.
They are having a nautical theme to the wedding, thus the
anchors.

I designed them with my Silhouette Studio Designer Edition.
I found a picture of an anchor, traced it and split the image.
Then tried several different fonts until we found one that
looked good and that she liked.
She's pretty easy to please, so it wasn't a tough job.
The anchors were done in gray heat transfer vinyl
and the monograms were done with purple
glitter heat transfer vinyl.
The font I used is
Monogram kk sc
Once I had the sizing right,
I was good to go.
We both love how the bags turned out.
When we got to the bridal salon,
Sara hung the bags on the hooks in
the dressing rooms.
The girl that took us to the rooms was excited
to see what we had made.
She said she loves when DIY brides come in.
The wedding party was very excited to find the bags
when they came in.
Below are some of the things that were in the bags.
Sara put their names and what their part in the
wedding party is on the hangers.
In the center is a princess on each hanger also.
This is my daughters hanger, she will be Best Lady
for her brother.
They received these little compact mirrors,
Sara put the I do Crew on each one with
vinyl.
She found these adorable candles.
Here are some of the other goodies she put
in the bags.
Check out those cute lolly pops,
they are actually hair bands.
This was in her maid of honor's bag.
It is filled with life savers and Ariel is
her favorite princess.

Thanks for stopping by today,
come again soon and you'll see the bag
I made for Sara and the goodies I put into it.
See you soon!
Until then, have fun crafting!
