Stuffing Waffles

Hello everyone!
I hope you had a wonderful Christmas
I know I did.
Here's an idea of a way to use the leftover
stuffing from your turkey dinner.
We used to always have turkey dinner for
New Years Day, so if your family is like
mine was, you may just have some of that left
over stuffing soon.

Take some of that stuffing and put it into a bowl.

Next add an egg and mix together.

Now just put it into your waffle iron.
This doesn't spread like waffles usually do.

When they are cooked and browned
take them out of the iron.

I put gravy on mine and it was wonderful.
I think this would make a great breakfast
if you like eggs, a fried egg on top would be
great.

Pretty darn tasty!

Thanks for stopping by today.
I hope you'll give these stuffing waffles a try.
Come again soon, until then
try something new!

Arthur

Hello blog friends!
Today I'd like to introduce you to Arthur.
My husband found Arthur in a Walmart parking
lot when we were visiting my Aunt Marilyn in
North Carolina.
I decided he needed to be our traveling companion,
I named him Arthur and he lives in our car on the dash board.
Recently our friend was in the Vets Hospital,
so we took Arthur for a visit.
He was very curious about the hospital and was
checking everything out.
Guess he was hoping to find something tasty
to eat here.
Each elevator has a different branch
of the military honored in it.
He was proud to honor the Marines in
this one.
He got very into what was on television.
Curious about that other animal.
Not a bit scared to interact with this creature.
And that night sky was amazing and mesmerizing.
He even took a climb up Buffalo City Hall.
Pretty good climber that Arthur!
Interesting stuff in this dispenser.
He was very curious about the rubber gloves,
so our friend Diane showed him what they
were for.  Well maybe not exactly what they
were for, but something fun to do with them.
He even helped with some medical procedures.
Checking out the drinks.
Always discard sharp objects safely.
The view was great from the 8th floor.
Nice view of UB
(SUNY Buffalo)
He also had a lot of fun taking a swing.

I have to say for a group of people in their
late 50s and early 60s we had way too much fun
with Arthur at the hospital. LOL!
But I also have to say we laughed a lot and
really cheered up our friend who was the patient.
It's not always bad to bring a little childhood into your life
and use your imagination.
After all, isn't that what being creative is all about?

Thanks for stopping by today, like I say,
you never know what you'll find on
Kristie Kreates!
Hope you enjoyed meeting Arthur.
Until next time,
be creative, use your imagination
and have fun.

French Toast Roll Ups

Hi blog fans!
Today I have something a little different.
I was home alone for dinner and I decided to
have a little breakfast for dinner.
So I made French Toast Roll Ups.
Very simple.
Take a piece of white bread and cut off the crust.
Then use a rolling pin to flatten the bread.
Spread a bit of cream cheese on one end of the bread,
and add some fruit, I used some mashed raspberries.
Starting at the end with the cream cheese,
roll it up.
Dip the rolled bread into melted butter and then
into sugar.
Cook in the air fryer for about 5 minutes, or in
the over for 10-15 minutes.

Here's what you end up with.

And inside is that yummy filling.
I made these for friends and mixed the cream cheese and
fruit together before spreading on the bread.
They were wonderful and everyone loved them.
You can use whatever fruit you like, or use
sugar and cinnamon, or peanut butter or
Nutella, use your imagination and
see what you can come up with.

Thanks for stopping in today,
I hope you'll give these a try, they are
simple, quick and very tasty.
Until next time,
try something new.

Down the Path and Food

Welcome to Kristie Kreates!
Today I have a couple layouts from Jaryd and Sara's
engagement trip to her Mom's for pictures
I love this sequence of pictures and had to use them.
My friend Judy suggested the title and I thought
it was perfect for the layout.
From what the kids tell me, it was a feast every time
they ate.  Like the layout says,
"Nobody goes hungry at Mom's"
To finish off this layout, I added shiny red confetti
in groups around the layout.
I think they pull it all together.
It was also Sara's birthday while they were there,
so of course they had to celebrate with a cake.
Kind of wish I had a little bit of purple confetti
for that little birthday area.
Thanks for stopping by and spending time here.
Come again soon and see what else I'm up to.
Until then:
