For this hop we are featuring the newest products from Perfect Paper Crafting

These are the Perfect Layers Mini Tools and the Perfect Cutting Mat
These are both wonderful tools for cardmakers and scrapbookers alike.
For my card today I stamped "Patchwork Sun" (#6104) from
onto white card stock and colored it with water color crayons
then fussy cut it and adhered it to yellow card stock.
Using my
Perfect Layers Mini Tools, my Perfect Cutting Mat
and a craft knife, I cut mats around my image then layered it onto
a card where I had cut several layers of patterned and plain colored card stock.
The Perfect Layers Mini Tools gives you perfect mats every time.
I also used the tools to draw the lines around the outside of the card.
I simply used a pen rather than a craft knife.
Be sure to check out the video showing just how easy it is to used the
Perfect Layers Tools.

Easter card with bubble stencil

Hello Blog fans!
Today I have an Easter card I made to show you.
I love this little "Happy Duckling" (#6807) image from
Sorry, but I don't have a clue who made the sentiment,
I borrowed the stamp from a friend at a crop
and didn't note which company it was from.

The 'bubble' background was made using a stencil I created
 with my Silhouette Cameo.
I placed the stencil over white card stock and inked it with
Distress Inks using a foam blending tool.
The Duckling and sentiment were stamped onto white card stock,
colored with water color crayons.
The duckling was fussy cut and was adhered to the background,
along with the sentiment with foam tape.
Which was then layered onto a white card base.

Please come again soon.

Until next time, Happy Crafting!

Birthday card for my God Daughter

Hello blog fans!
I know I haven't been around much recently and I'm sorry for that.
I won't get into the particulars, but let me just say things have been pretty busy
with me and mine.
Hopefully, I'll be posting on a regular basis now.
Today I have a card that I made for my little God Daughter for her
2nd birthday.
I used "Watering Hearts" (#8403) from QKR Stampede and
"Happy Birthday" (#36314) from Biblical Impressions
I stamped the Watering Hearts image onto white card stock and
colored it with water color crayons, then fussy cut it and adhered it to
the patterned paper.
For the hearts I colored some card stock with water color crayon and
punched hearts to adhere to the card front.

To finish off the card I added some faux stitching around the edges.

Thanks for stopping by today,
I hope you have been inspired in some way.
Come again soon.

Until next time, Happy Crafting!
