My Other Pages

To make it easier to read about our trip to Ireland, I have made a page that is just for that. There is a tab above for Ireland Trip 2014 or click on the Home tab to read my other posts. I have also created a new page for My Weight Loss Journey if you are interested in that, click on the tab above.

I love Bubba Shirt

Hello crafty friends!
Today I'm showing you a shirt that I made for my
Grandson, Asher, for Christmas.
They have a pit mix whose name is
Buster Brown.  Asher calls him Bubba and they
love each other immensely.
This isn't actually Buster's picture,
but it does look a lot like him.
Sara saw a shirt that said
I Love Bubba! and thought
it would be cute for Asher.
They didn't expect a picture on it though.
It turned out so cute and he looks
adorable wearing it.

Thanks for the check in.
I hope you enjoyed your time here
and will come again soon.
Until then,
tell someone, even if it's your pet, that you love them!

Birthday Banner

Good day crafty people!
Marie's birthday was in November and this year
she wanted a super hero party.
Since she turned 4, her super heroes are from
Teen Titans, PJ Masks and Power Puff Girls.

I simply printed the characters and letters onto
white card stock and cut them into banners.
She loved the banner and all the decorations
that we had for her party.
The banner pieces were strung together with multi colored
string.
The whole party was a big success.
Now I wonder what she'll be looking for next year for
her theme.

Thanks for stopping by today.
I hope you'll come again soon.
You never know what you'll find on

Art Swap Christmas Card 2023

Hello and welcome!
I know this is past the Christmas season,
but I wanted to share this card I made for
a friend.
Our swap group had a Christmas card swap and this
is the card I made.
I made this with a set of dies I got from Temu.
I will admit that it took me a while to figure it all
out and get it together.
It's my own fault though, as I made it much more
difficult than it needed to be.
For instance I wanted the cut out areas to show gold on
both sides of the card, so I had to do a double layer of
the center panel and position the gold behind both sides.
I ended up using a whole piece for one side and gluing the
cut out pieces into the open areas on the other side.
A tedious task, but I got it done.
I also cut out snow for the bottom of this panel and
also cut the deer out and adhered it to the deer that
was originally green.
I put a small panel in to write my greeting,
then decided that some birds would look
really cute and cut them from another die
and adhered them to the top of the small panel.
I was very happy with this card in the end and love
how it turned out.
It was a lot of work and figuring, but it was well worth
it.

I'm glad you stopped in today and hope you have been inspired
in some way.
Please do come again,
until then,
make something you love.

Crafty Girl Shirt

Hello everyone!
I hope 2024 is starting out well for y'all.
I'm sorry it's been so long since I've posted anything.
It was a crazy couple of months here with holidays
and such.  Then covid hit the family again.  Once that
was over we went on to something flu-like.
Hopefully, now I'm back again.
I have a little catching up to do, so some of these posts
might be a little out of season.
Today I'm showing you a shirt I made for Marie.
I got a larger sized tee shirt and made it into a crafting
shirt for her.  She loves her crafts and the shirt we have
has gotten a little small on her, so she was in need of
something new, to go along with the craft supplies
we were giving her.
I created the design with my
Silhouette Studio Designer Edition software and
cut it with my Silhouette Cameo from
Heat Transfer Vinyl.
The really fun thing is that the font I used is one that
Marie created herself.
Kelsie and Sara have started their own business,
with resin and hope to eventually have other
items to sell.  One of them is fonts for
use with Silhouettes, Cricuts and such.
Marie made her own font and it's called
"Scribbles"
I love how this turned out and Marie loves it too.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you'll come again soon.
Until then,
have fun crafting.
