Christmas Tag

Hello!
On Monday I shared a Christmas card that I made for the
"Tag, you're it"
Challenge on the Eureka! Stamps Blog.
Today I have another tag that I made.
For this one I used
"Snowman To and From" (#23705)
I stamped the image with Versa Fine ink
and colored it with water color crayons.
I used a glue pen and added glitter to the
shadowed areas on the snow to give it a
little sparkle.
This image was stamped with a red rubber stamp,
but like all the other images at Eureka! Stamps,
it comes in digital format also.
Hop on over to the Eureka! Stamps Store
and see what wonderful images they have.
Maybe you can get a start on your Christmas cards and tags.

Tag You're It Challenge

Hi Everyone!
Today's challenge from the
is "Tag You're It"
For my card I used
"Snow Background" (#27301)
"Snowman Balloon" (#11805)
"Christmas Balloon" (#16402)
"Reindeer Balloon" (#2606)
All from
I stamped the Snow Background onto white card stock with
Versa Mark Ink and embossed with white embossing powder.
I then sponged over it with Distress Ink.
The embossing resists the ink and remains white.

Each of the balloon images was stamped with VersaFine ink
and colored with water color crayons.

The "baker's twine" is some that I made and had in my stash.
The envelopes were made with green vellum, using my new
There weren't exactly the measurements I needed,
but it was easy enough to do a little figuring and get the right size.

Thanks for stopping by today.
I hope you are inspired to create some kind of tag
 and enter our challenge.
Come again soon to see the other tag I created

Fall Frame Card

Hello!
Did you realize that it's almost autumn?
Hard to believe!
Today I'm showing you a fall themed card.
I used "Fall Frame" (#56801) from
I stamped the image with Versa Mark ink
and colored it with water color crayons.
I fussy cut around the image and layered it onto
card stock then onto a kraft card base.
When I'm ready to use this card,
I will probably choose a sentiment
to stamp into the open space above the pumpkins.

My favorite season is the summer,
but I do love the colors of fall.
How about you?  Have a favorite season?

Baby Circle Card for shaped card challenge

Hi all you crafty people!
Today we start a new challenge on the
The theme this week is
"shaped cards"
I chose to use this adorable
"Baby Zebra" (#39902) from
Eureka! Stamps for my card.
I colored this sweet little guy with FlexMarkers
and fussy cut him.
The "BABY" is cut from some patterned paper I found in my stash.
Shaped cards are not as difficult to make as you may think.
Once you have decided on a shape, cut 2 of the same shape, same size.
Make the front of your card, using what ever stamps end other embellishments you want.
Now for the back of the card.
About 1/2" -3/4" from the top of the card, make a score line.
Above the score line apply your favorite adhesive.
Align the front and back of the card and stick them together.
Fold back on the score line, this allows the card to open.
See, easy peasy!
This can be done with any shape of card.
Just be sure they match up and you're good to go.

I hope you have been inspired in some way today and will
try your hand at this easy style of card.
Be sure to pop in at the
where you can get all the particulars on the challenge.

Come again soon.

Embossed background card

Hi all!
A few days ago, I posted a tutorial on
Showing how to make an embossed background.
Today I'm showing what I did with the background that I created.
I layered the snowflake background onto white card stock,
which then was added to the front of a white card base that had been
inked with Distress Ink to match the blue on the embossed piece.
I used "Christmas Blessings" (#7304) from
as my greeting.
I stamped it onto white card stock with
Versa Fine black ink and colored it with
water color crayons.
I trimmed it down and inked the edges with
Distress Ink and added it to the card
with foam tape.
This is just one way in which you can use an
embossed background.

Thanks for stopping by today,
I hope you will leave a comment and
come again soon.

Until next time, Happy Crafting!
