Onesies

Hello y'all!
As you know, if you've followed me for a while,
I have a little granddaughter.
When we had Sara's baby shower, we had a onesie/bib/burp cloth
making station.  I had some left over sayings, so recently I
made up some more onesies for Marie.
Here are the new ones that I made for her.
I think they turned out really cute.
She is growing so fast that I don't know how long she'll
be able to wear them.

Thanks for stopping by today.
I hope you have enjoyed checking out these
cute onesies.
Come again soon,
you never know what you'll find on

Harry Potter/Hogwarts Challenge

Hello!
Today I have something a little different to share.
My daughter Kelsie has an Instagram page
In May she participated in a challenge,
each day the challenge was to do something to do
with the different houses at Hogwarts.
It could be anything they wanted,
she chose to do art on her face with make up.
Here are the different looks she did.
Gryffindor
Hufflepuff
Ravenclaw
Slytherin
Professor Lockhart
Last day was anything Hogwarts,
she chose Professor Lockhart as he is
also a redhead and loves purple.

Isn't she beautiful?!?!
I think she did a fabulous job with these.
She is totally self taught and I think she has a
great deal of talent.
Which is your favorite look?
Follow her on instagram to see what
she uses and more looks.

Thanks for stopping by today,
I hope you have enjoyed seeing my beautiful daughter
and something a bit different for
Kristie Kreates.
Come again soon,
you never know what you'll see on
Kristie Kreates.

Smile

Hello and welcome!
I think a rainbow of colors is so happy looking!
I decided to make some simple cards with a happy
look, so I got out my watercolors and made these.
I thought "smile" was a prefect addition to the fronts of
these cards.
I had trimmed off a bit of the front panel to make it fit
on the card and thought I'd carry the color inside.
For this card I use a smaller swatch of colors and
heat embossed the "smile" with embossing powder.

I hope these cards made you smile as well as the friends the
were sent to.
Until next time
Smile and spread some rainbows.

Watercolor swatches

Hi y'all!
Today I have a couple cards to show you that I made
from some watercolor and doodling pieces that
I made.
I painted the swatches onto water color paper
with water color paints, then doodled with a black
pen.  I used more water color paints to paint in the
leaves etc. and I love how these turned out.
Same technique was used on these swatches,
I've been practicing and thought I should do something
with the pieces I created, so cards it is.
I hope the people that receive them like them
as much as I do.

Thanks for spending time with me today,
I hope you have enjoyed your visit and will
come again soon.
Until then;
Try something new.

More Cards from my Stash

Hi Everyone!
Today I'm showing you a couple more cards I made
using pieces from my stash.
These 2 are made with Dylusions Sprays.
I sprayed them onto ink jet photo paper.
I love the color combinations and how bright
they turned out.
I'm not altogether sure about this piece.
I believe it was done with paints and my gelli plate,
but I'm not really sure.  Whatever I did, I love how it
looks.
Both simple cards, but I think they pack a nice punch.
Thanks for stopping in to see what I've been up to
lately, come again soon.
Until then;
Happy Crafting!

Hello Cards

Hello Blog friends!
I hope y'all are doing well and staying healthy.
Today i have a couple cards to show you that
I made from my stash.
They are both very simple cards made to send to
friends during the COVID lockdown.
This was a piece that I had made by inking
over a stencil with Distress Inks.
This piece was made using paints on my
gelli plate.
Did you make and/or send cards to anyone
during the lockdown, just to say hi and brighten
someones day?
Thanks for stopping for a visit,
I hope you are having a bright day.
