Somebunny Loves You

Hi All!
I'm here with a couple more Easter cards for you.
These cards could actually be used in other ways,
by just putting a different sentiment inside.
I think they'd make great encouragement cards.
I stamped "Daydreaming Bunny" onto white card stock
and colored him with colored pencils, then fussy cut him.
I adhered him to the card front with an Action Wobble.
The background papers are from my scrap stash.
Here is my other one, done with different colors and
papers. The sentiment is "Some bunny"
Inside I stamped a simple Happy Easter.
Both cards are a kraft card stock base.

I hope these cards bring a smile to those who receive them.
Hope you like them too,
thanks for stopping in today.
See you again soon,
until then,
don't eat too much chocolate!

Somebunny Loves You

Easter is on it's way!
Hi all!
Do you make and send Easter cards?
I haven't really in the past, but this year I'm
trying to send out more cards and thought
Easter cards were in order.
Here are a few that I made that are similar.
This one is a shaker card and I think it turned out cute.
This is "Daydreaming Bunny" from
QKR Stampede.
Another shaker card with the same bunny.
The grass under him is
"Field Grass Right"  from
Biblical Impressions
For this card, I used Distress Inks to make the
background inside that oval cut out.
I have stamped
Somebunny Loves You
from QKR Stampede inside these cards.
And last, I made this card.
The sky and ground were sponged with
and I used the Field Grass stamp again to
stamp the grass, also with Distress Inks.
The bunnies were all stamped
colored with colored pencils and fussy cut.
The sentiments were also stamped with
VersaFine Onyx Black Ink.

I hope you enjoy my cards and will
think about making some yourself.
Come again soon and see some
more of the Easter cards I have ready to
send to some family and friends.
Until next time:

Somebunny Loves You

Happy Easter!
I wanted to make a cute card for my Mom
for Easter and here is what I came up with.
I used some of my deli paper and alcohol ink
background paper for the base panel.
I stamped and colored
and
with colored pencils,
fussy cut them and adhered the
bunny directly to the background panel
with ATG tape.
I added the tulips with
foam tape.
The sentiment is
and is stamped with
Onyx Black Versa Fine Ink.
I'm sure my Mom loves her card.
I hope you have a beautiful and blessed
Easter.
Thanks for stopping by today,
see you again soon.

QKR April Bunny Hop

Hoppy Day to you all!
Welcome to the April "Bunny Hop" for QKR Stampede!

If you have just happened onto the hop, you will want to go to the beginning as you won't want to miss any of the "Bunny Hop" projects.
If you have come from Jessica's blog, you are right on track. She is so talented, isn't she?!?!

As I'm sure you can tell, this months theme is bunnies.
QKR Stampede has a lot of bunny stamps to choose from and I chose
"Daydreaming Bunny" (#15209) for my project today.
I also used "Some Bunny" (#10603) for this card.

I think this "Daydreaming Bunny" is the cutest guy!
I stamped him onto water color paper and used some water color crayons to color him.  Just a little bit of gray and pink did the trick.
The flowers were made by punching some paper flowers and layering them then using a bit of stickles in the centers.

Inside I used the "Some Bunny" sentiment stamp.

Now you can hop on over to see what
has to show you at her blog.
I'm sure it will be something wonderful!

Now hop to it!

Once you have finished the "Bunny Hop" why not hop on over to the
QKR Stampede shop and see all the adorable bunny stamps they have to offer.

Thanks for stopping by today. I hope you'll hop in again soon.

Until next time, Happy Crafting!

Easter Treats

On Saturday evening I decided that I needed to make little treats for those having Easter dinner at our home.
I don't know why I do that, wait until the last minute like that, but I do it often.  When I say I decided Saturday evening, I mean pretty late.
I started making these at about 11:30.
I'm a night owl anyway, so it was okay and I was happy with how they turned out.
If I had more time, I probably would have done a bit more with them, but none the less, I thought they turned our cute.
I used 2 stamps from QKR Stampede,
Daydreaming Bunny (#15209) and Some Bunny (#10603)
I stamped "Daydreaming Bunny" onto white card stock and colored them with my new set of Letraset FlexMarkers.
These markers are alcohol markers and I won a complete set of 90 from my cyber friend Enfys' blog Going Buggy.
Thanks to Enfys and Letraset for this wonderful prize!

I had so much fun coloring them in all different colors.
Of course there aren't really pink or blue bunnies, but I wanted to try out as many colors as I could of my new markers.
And boy did I love playing with them!
I can tell already that I'm going to be using them a lot.

On the back of each bag topper I stamped the "Some Bunny" sentiment.
Then stapled them to the little bags full of Easter goodies.
The treat bags were placed on each plate at the dinner table.
Everyone seemed to like their little treats and I had a lot of fun making them.

Thanks for stopping by today!  Leave a comment if you like and come again soon.  I always like visitors to my blog.

Until next time, Happy Crafting!
