My Other Pages

To make it easier to read about our trip to Ireland, I have made a page that is just for that. There is a tab above for Ireland Trip 2014 or click on the Home tab to read my other posts. I have also created a new page for My Weight Loss Journey if you are interested in that, click on the tab above.

"A Slow and Steady Blog Crawl"

Hello blogland friends!

Welcome to A Slow and Steady Blog Hop Crawl!  This month's theme for the QKR Stampede Blog Hop Crawl is Turtles.  And let me tell you QKR Stampede has some really adorable turtles.  I have 3 of them to show you today.  You can see them and many more at QKR Stampede.

If you have happened upon the blog hop crawl by stopping at my blog, you will want to go to the QKR Blog and start there.  You won't want to miss any of the wonderful turtle projects that our design team has created.  If there is a link that is not working somewhere along the way, just hop crawl on back to the
QKR Blog where you will find the line up.

If you have come from Debbie's blog, you are on the right track and I'm sure you were inspired by her project.

Now for my turtle cards.
This first card is made with "Drop Me A Line" (#6503) I stamped it with Moss Green VersaFine ink.  The Green card stock was run through my Cuttlebug in an Argyle Embossing folder, I added a bit of brown ink to enhance the embossed design.
This 2nd little guy is simply titled "Turtle"  (#16315)  I love how he is sticking his neck out.  I'm thinking the inside of this card would say "to say thank you for sticking your neck out to give me a hand"  or something to that effect.
He was stamped with Onyx Black VersaFine ink and colored with watercolor crayons.
My 3rd card is my favorite turtle image. "In Love" (#10806) and I thought he was perfect for an anniversary card.  He looks total smitten, doesn't he?
He is stamped with VersaFine ink and colored with water color crayons and is attached to the card with foam tape.
The little flowers in the lower corner were stamped, colored and fussy cut from this little guys bouquet and attached with foam tape also.
Is he just too sweet or what?!?!
I hope you have liked my turtle cards, please leave me a comment and let me know you stopped by and what you think.
Then you need to crawl over to see what wonderful project
has to show you.  I'm sure you will be inspired.

Don't forget to pop into the QKR Stampede store and check out all the adorable turtles and other images that are offered in both rubber and digital stamps.

Until next time, Happy Crafting!
