My Other Pages

To make it easier to read about our trip to Ireland, I have made a page that is just for that. There is a tab above for Ireland Trip 2014 or click on the Home tab to read my other posts. I have also created a new page for My Weight Loss Journey if you are interested in that, click on the tab above.

Anything Goes Challenge

Hi crafty people!
This weeks challenge for the
"Anything Goes"
I used a few stamps from
"Congratulations" (#5507)
"Lg Cap" (#18901) and
"Shamrock Border" (#40502)
I used all red rubber stamps,
but they also come in digi format.
Now, I know it's kind of late in the season for a graduation card,
but I really wanted to show the style of card.
I love the idea of the "belly band" on a card like this.
I simply stamped the Shamrock Border
onto some Kraft card stock,
trimmed it down and adhered it into a band around the card.
The 'Congratulations!' was embossed
with white embossing powder.
The diploma was stamped onto card stock
and fussy cut, the band was stamped onto a scrap
of card stock and also fussy cut then adhered to the diploma.

Inside, I folded over and adhered the card stock
to make a pocket where you can put
some cash, a check, a gift certificate or card,
whatever you want.
This card is simple to make and who doesn't like to receive a little something in a card?

I hope you will join the challenge this week.
Now head over to the
for more inspiration from our design team
and to find out how you can enter the challenge.
Hope you'll play along.

Thanks for stopping by today, leave a comment if you will.
Come again soon.

Until next time, Happy Crafting!

So simple and yet so elegant! Love your choice of a long and narrow rectangular shape for this card!

Graduations can happen at the end of summer too for some college students...so this is very timely. Love the idea of the belly band on this card. Very cool!

Great design for a graduation card... or any occasion!
Sorry to hear about your mom, Kristie. What a terrible thing to have happen. I truly hope that she is healing and doing well. Hugs.
