Time for another Eureka! Stamps Challenge.
For all the details hop on over to the
then join in the fun.
This week the theme is
"Dog Days of Summer"
What is more "summer" than swimming?
So for my card I decided to use:
"Fish Bowl" (#6203)
"Sm Fat Fish" (#6204)
"Bubble Background" (#58101)
I made 2 cards for this challenge.
For the one above I stamped the Fish Bowl onto white card stock.
I folded it so the top of the bowl was the fold of the card
and cut around the bowl.
I colored the sand and stones at the bottom of the bowl.
I then stamped Bubble Background onto blue paper
with VersaMark ink,
fussy cut the water and adhered it to the fishbowl.
Small Fat Fish was stamped onto the bubble background
as well as onto white card stock.
The fish was colored with FlexMarkers and fussy cut,
then adhered over the image on the bubble background.
I added a bit of Glossy Accents to the bubbles from the fish.
Now for the other card that I made.
I used the same stamps,
but didn't like at all how the card was turning out.
I wanted it to look like you were seeing through
the top of the fish bowl to the "wall paper" behind,
but it just wasn't doing it for me,
so I set this card aside and made the other one.
I may pull this out and "fix" it, just don't know what I'll do with it.
Any suggestions?
Thanks for stopping by.
I hope you are inspired in some way.
Leave me a comment, if you will, about how to 'fix' my card.
What would you do with it?
Until next time, Happy Crafting!

Love your fish bowl shaped card Kristie! I never fussy cut anything because I always seem to mess it up. LOL!! Now your first attempt isn't as bad as you think it is. You're being your own worst critic. I think if you just add a sentiment to the top to break up the wallpaper and maybe some texture to the water...maybe even with Stickles to make it sparkle.....
Blessings,
Zella
This is super cute, great card design!
