My Other Pages

To make it easier to read about our trip to Ireland, I have made a page that is just for that. There is a tab above for Ireland Trip 2014 or click on the Home tab to read my other posts. I have also created a new page for My Weight Loss Journey if you are interested in that, click on the tab above.

Impact! Dirty Scraps #14

Recently I found a blog called Dirty Scraps. They put up challenges twice a month, each challenge is to create a layout using the prompt word(s) I haven't had time to really look around yet, but it seems that the whole point is that life is sometimes dirty and everything isn't always peachy. Sometimes we need to scrap about the good, the bad and the ugly. The most recent challenge #14, is to use the word IMPACT in your layout. Hop on over and take a look at the blog, you may just want to join in on the next challenge.
My layout is about Dr. Mason and my total hip replacement. I can't tell you what a huge impact this has had on my life. It has been years since I could walk with out pain and now I can. Today it is 8 weeks since I had my surgery and I am walking with out my cane much of the time, I only use it when I go out in public or if I need to walk a distance. I am soooo thrilled with my recovery and Dr. Mason is my new hero!

Thanks for stopping by, please feel free to leave me a comment and hop on over to Dirty Scraps and see what it's all about.
Until next time, Happy Crafting.

Kristie -- For some reason I haven't received your blog posts updates (errr... Google!). Anyway, wanted to congratulate you on your recovery. Your doctor certainly deserves a lot of credit, but so do you . . . it wouldn't be possible to be where you are without your work and cooperation with the therapy, etc. Keep up the good work and keep improving!
