My Other Pages

To make it easier to read about our trip to Ireland, I have made a page that is just for that. There is a tab above for Ireland Trip 2014 or click on the Home tab to read my other posts. I have also created a new page for My Weight Loss Journey if you are interested in that, click on the tab above.

Thursday QKR post

Hi All! Today I am showing a card made with the Happy Tummy image from QKR Stampede. This is my first posting that will also be posted on the QKR Blog, I will be posting there every 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month. Be sure to stop by the QKR blog often, as the design team will be posting daily with some wonderful projects to inspire you.

I love how this card turned out. First I stamped the image onto white card stock with Black Onyx Versafine ink, then colored it with watercolor crayons. I then stamped another image with Whispers red ink and cut out the top and bottom of the apple. Once I 'fussy' cut the image I glued the red 'skin' to it.

I created the apple card with my SCAL2 program and cut it with my Cricut Expressions. The Happy Tummy image was adhered with foam tape to give the card a little dimension and the dash lines were done with my White Ulitmate Gel Pen.

The 'Celebrate' is a Forever in Time Vintage Classics Rub-on.

For the inside of the card I cut a smaller apple with my Expressions from white computer paper and printed the sentiment from my computer, then adhered it with my ATG Tape Gun.

I hope you like this card and will stop back soon. Also be sure to check out the design team members who are listed at the right of my blog. Each one is linked to their blog where I know you will find some wonderful projects and lots of inspiration.

Thanks for stopping, leave me a comment and become a follower if you wish.

Until next time, Happy Crafting!
