My Other Pages

To make it easier to read about our trip to Ireland, I have made a page that is just for that. There is a tab above for Ireland Trip 2014 or click on the Home tab to read my other posts. I have also created a new page for My Weight Loss Journey if you are interested in that, click on the tab above.

Box with border design.

Hello!

Today I'm showing you a little box I made.
I used 2 stamps from Eureka! Stamps on this project.
First I stamped the brown card stock with
"Baroque Background" (#57701) using Versa Mark Watermark Ink.
Then I stamped a strip of tan card stock with
"Filagree Border" (#57703) using Color Box Fluid Chalk Ink.
I scored and cut the brown card stock to make the box.
I cut the tan strips into pieces for the sides of the box and adhered them with ATG tape. Then I folded and adhered the box together.

I did cut a piece of cardboard for inside the bottom
of the box to give it a little extra stability.
This will be used at My Happy Place Scrapbooking
to hold everyone's punch cards.

We have punch cards that are punched each time a person comes for a crop. Once they have 10 punches they receive a free evening crop.

Many of our scrappers/crafters were putting their cards in a safe place and forgetting where they were, so we decided to keep the cards in this little box along with the punch that we use on them.

Everyone loved the box when I took it in, I think it turned out very nice.

Eureka! Stamps has many background stamps that are wonderful for giving a plain piece of card stock or paper a little extra pop.
Borders can be added as a border or as a focal point of a project.
Stop in to the Eureka! Stamps shop and see what they have to offer!

Thanks for stopping today!
See you again soon.

Until next time, Happy Crafting!

Darling! I love that idea. My girls would get a kick out of something like that for their room.
