Hello crafty friends!
Have you ever not known what to make,
what to stamp,
what to do?
That's how I was feeling yesterday.
I wanted to work on something and didn't have any direction,
so I got out this stamp, which I love, and stamped it onto a page from an old book.
I colored it with water color crayons and loved how it looked.
Not knowing what I'd do with it, I cute it down.
I knew I wanted to put it on a card and from there it just kind of happened.
I inked the edges, just took my blending tool and used what was on the brown pad.
I had a scrap of card stock that matched nicely, so I put it onto that and used my
Perfect Layers Mini tools and my Perfect Cutting Mat from
to cut a perfect mat.
Then I eyed the pieces of hand made paper that I had gotten from an art show.
I adhered it to that and just tore around the edges.
Loved it!
Now for the sentiment.
I pulled out a set of stamps that I got from Simon Says Stamp
and decided on Praying for You
then I spotted a scrap of the hand made paper that I had torn off the
image piece and stamped it onto that.
Adhered it all to a kraft card stock card base
and was done.
And I love it!
Funny how sometimes the cards that have no plan,
no forethought,
no direction
end up being the ones that you love the most.
