Elf On A Shelf Book From 2023

Hey there you crafty people!
Today I have my annual Elf book to show you.
My grandbabies have a couple elves  that come
at Christmas time.
Every year I make a little album that they bring
back with them the next year.
Here is the album from 2023 that they brought
back in 2024.
I know I'm late showing this to y'all,
but I'm hoping you may be inspired to get some
pictures from Christmas printed and do a little
scrapbooking.
I should get the elf pictures printed now and
get the 2024 album done early.

I got a couple paper stacks on clearance after Christmas,
so I'm good to go for the next album.
Now I just have to get some prints made and
get it done.

Thanks for stopping by today.
I hope you have been inspired in some way and
will come again soon.
Until then,
record some memories!

Special Order Shirts

Good day!
When my cousin's wife messaged me and asked if
I could make some special order shirts for them
for Christmas, I was up for the job.
They needed 13 shirts all with different images
and names on them.
Each person has a nickname and that was to be
on the back of the shirt and on the front an image
to represent their name.
She gave me permission to create them with
whatever I thought up, although they did give me
some ideas.
Here are a few of those shirts
This was for Sarah, whose nick name is
below.
I love how it turned out.
The color is actually the color in the first picture,
don't know why it looks so different.
I don't really know if Babeless Chaps is some
character or what, but these chaps was
the best I could do for this name.
They did turn out good though.

My cousin's name is Carla and we used to call her
Car all the time when we were young.
Her nickname is Car-Car.
She used to own a white Mustang convertible, so I found
one that I could create for her shirt and put
2 of them on the front of the shirt.

Shantelle  is called Shani.
They suggested this pop for her shirt.
I had never heard of it, but found pictures online.
It's a berry flavored pop that isn't sold in the US.

Another character I'd never heard of is
Doop, but there were plenty of pictures online.
Apparently this character has to do with with
Marvel comics.

Sofia is called Soap,
so a bar of soap it was.
Thanks for stopping by today,
I'll have another post soon, showing
the rest of the shirts.
I hope you'll come back to see what else
I've been up to.
Until then,
have fun crafting, no matter what kind
of crafts you do.

What's a can cozy?

Hello all!
As you may know, I live the the Buffalo, NY area
and it does get pretty cold here.
We are huge sports fans in Buffalo.
The Bills are our NFL team and are very well loved.
If you go to a game, you
need to be ready for the cold.
Lot's of people tailgate before the games and that
can be pretty chilly.
When I saw "can cozies" advertised on facebook,
my reaction was, of course, I could make those.
So I found a video on line and watched it.
I couldn't believe how easy they could be to make.
They are like a mitten that you can hold a
can, bottle or cup in.
A bottle of water fits great.
Or a can of pop or beer.
I made a couple for my friend and she took them to
the Bills game and said they worked out great.
Your hand stays warm and it's easy to hold your
drink.
They can also be used for hot drinks.
Unfortunately, I can't find the tutorial that I followed,
but if you look on YouTube there are quite a few tutorials.

Thanks for stopping by today, I hope you have been inspired in some way.
Come again soon,
until then,
try making something new and different.

Fireball Cups

Hello all you crafty people!
Today I'm showing you a couple little gifts I gave
my girls for Christmas.
They have a resin business and sell at craft shows.
One day I was shopping with Jaryd and he found these little cups.
They are bigger than a shot glass, but smaller than a
regular cup.  They hold 3 oz.
They happened to have purple and teal, which are the
Clumsy Cloud Gifts signature colors.
I picked them up for the girls so I could customize them.
On one side I put their logo.
On the other side I put the logo for
Fireball.
Neither of them are big drinkers,
but it is their custom to have a shot of
Fireball once they are home from a craft show.
These little cups will be perfect for that.
They loved them and they were easy to
customize with vinyl that I
cut with my Silhouette Cameo.

Thanks for stopping in today,
I hope you've been inspired in some way.
Come again soon,
you never know what you'll find on
Kristie Kreates!

Gift for Grandma and Grandpa

Hello crafty people!
I hope all is well in your part of the world.
Today I'm sharing a gift that I helped
Marie and Asher make for their
Grandma and Grandpa for Christmas.
I found this little hanging metal sign at the
Dollar Tree one day.  I picked it up with
a whole bunch of others to use with the kids.
Their Grandma and Grandpa have a boat and I thought
it would be just perfect for them.
I took the jute off and let the kids pounce all over the
sign with alcohol inks.  They had a ball painting it and
we all thought it turned out great.
I did have to clean up the anchor with some alcohol, but that
was simple enough.  I tied the jute back on and then
found some letters in my stash to add their name.
Marie and Asher were very excited to have made
this special gift for their grandparents.
Of course, Marie thought it was pretty funny that
G-Ma was the messiest one and ended up with blue
fingers.  The next day I had a doctor appointment and
Marie thought it would be funny if the doctor thought I
had some crazy disease.
She didn't, she just asked "You been painting?"
Didn't fool her one bit.

Thanks for stopping by today,
I hope you have been inspired in some way and will
come again soon.
Until then,
remember, crafting doesn't have to always be expensive.
Take a look a the Dollar Tree in your area and the clearance
items in your local craft stores.
This project only cost me $.50!
