More QKR cards.

Hi y'all! Today I'm showing you a couple more card fronts that I made with stamps from QKR Stampede. This first one is s sweet little girl and her basket of fresh picked flowers, just for you! I colored her with Aqua crayons, after stamping her on plain white cardstock with Black Onyx Versafine ink. I used foam tape to give her demension when I adhered her to tan colored cardstock. You know what I'm going to say next, right? It was from my stash of scraps, so I don't know what company it was from. But I do know that the paper flowers are ones that I got on clearance at Micheal's this last week. They are from Recollections and for $.45 for a pack of 12, who could resist? I got some blue ones too!

For those of you who know me well, you will be surprised that I hand wrote the "for you" I had to practice for a while until I got a look that I liked. I do hate my handwriting and almost never use it on cards like this, but this time I think it came out nice.

The flowers are attached with brads that I got when I won a contest on the Devine Moments blog. Amy said she would send me something nice and when I got the package there were about 25 packages of brads, all sizes and colors. Amy is the sweetest gal. She sells through Etsy and there is a link on her blog if you are interested.

Lastly, I drew dash lines around the cut out image to finish off the card and rounded the corners with my Corner Chomper. I think she turned out pretty cute.

This second card is made with a cute little ant stamp from QKR. What better image than an ant roasting a marshmallow for an invite to a picnic. All the printing was done from my computer and he was colored with watercolor pencils. After rounding the corners I attached the invite to brown cardstock, again from my scrap stash. Yes, I do have the biggest scrap stash in Western NY!

I thought I'd add a little humor and printed "Is this what you call a "Fire Ant"??? at the bottom.

I have been working hard on some more cards for QKR, if you could call all this fun stuff work, and will be posting more for you to see during the week.
Thanks for stopping, hope you have enjoyed my post. Leave me a comment and become a follower if you would like. Until next time, Happy Crafting!
