She posted about this and their most recent challenge on her blog. Now, I'm usually not one to participate in challenges, guess they are just too challenging for me. LOL! But I thought I would try this one.
The challenge was to get into your stash and use some 'old and forgotten' birthday papers or supplies to make a birthday card. Now, I don't have anything that is remotely birthday paper, but I did make a birthday card, so I hope that qualifies for the challenge. Either way, I had fun creating this card.
I also challenged myself to use only the base paper and this one other sheet of paper. I am pretty sure I got this paper when I was shopping at Crafts 2000 in Michigan with my friend Mary. It was quite a while ago, maybe 2 yrs or so. It is from Scrappy Cat and was on clearance for only $.10/sheet. The picture below shows one side, the other side is solid orange, guess I figured if I couldn't come up with something to use that patterned side for, I would use the orange. I finally found a way to use both.
I'm pleased with how my first attempt at a Belli Blog Challenge turned out.
