My Other Pages

To make it easier to read about our trip to Ireland, I have made a page that is just for that. There is a tab above for Ireland Trip 2014 or click on the Home tab to read my other posts. I have also created a new page for My Weight Loss Journey if you are interested in that, click on the tab above.

Sweet Angel Card

Hello!  And welcome to the QKR Stampede Heaven Sent Blog Hop!  This month our theme is angels.

If you have come here from Monika's
you are on the right track. I'm sure you found something wonderful on her blog, that will give you lots of inspiration.

If you have just happened onto the Hop, you may want to go back and start at the beginning at the QKR Blog.  You won't want to miss anything.  If you get lost along the way or one of the links isn't working, just head back there and you will be able to pick up where you left off.  There will be an entire line up on the QKR Blog

And to make things even better, if you hop along and comment on each blog in the hop, your name will be entered into a drawing for a QKR Stampede gift certificate!  So be sure to comment on everyones blog posts, then return to the QKR Blog and let us know that you completed the hop.  Good luck!

Watering Hearts (#8403) is the image I used on today's card.  It is one of the many angel images that QKR Stampede has available in rubber stamp or digi form.
She was stamped onto white card stock and colored with watercolor crayons.  Then layered onto card stock from my stash.  The card base is kraft card stock and was layered with patterned paper from my stash also.
To add the ribbon to my card I ran it through my Xyron "X" sticker maker.

Have you seen the Bow Easy
It's a simple little tool that makes it quick and easy to make a bow for your project.  I don't have one of these, but when my son, Jaryd saw it, he decided to create one for me.
He used my Sure Cuts A Lot 2 program and designed one, I tweaked it a little and cut it out with my Cricut Expressions.
I'll tell you, it sure makes it easy to make perfect little bows! This is what I used to make the little bows on this card, which I used Glossy Accents to adhere to the card.

Now that you have seen what I have made, you will want to hop on to Jessica's blog, where I'm sure she will have some wonderful inspiration posted.
Thanks for stopping by today!  I hope you'll leave a comment and let me know what you think of my sweet angel card.

Until next time, Happy Crafting!
