Just a note card

Hello and welcome.
I'm glad you've stopped by today.
I have a friend whose father is in rehab after
some health problems, so I wanted to send him
a card that would hopefully bring a smile to his face
and let him know people care and are thinking about him.
For the sky and grass I used
Salty Ocean and Mowed Grass
Distress Inks with blending foam.
I cut a piece of scrap card stock with several
"bumps" on it and used it in different positions
to create the clouds.
I used colored pencils to create the grass.
The train is a stamp available from
I stamped it with
Onyx Black VersaFine Ink
and colored pencils to color it.
I fussy cut the train image and adhered it
to the background piece.
I liked the silver card stock and black
card base, I think it really sets off the image.
Inside, I wrote a personal note.

Thanks for stopping by today,
I hope you have been inspired in some way and
will come again soon.
Until then,
brighten someone's day.

Zoo Animal Balloon Card

Hello Blog friends!
My beautiful granddaughter turned one
in November and I made this card for her
birthday,  I had a lot of fun with it and
I think everyone loved it.
has a whole line of these balloon
stamps and holders. I got them all when
I was on the Eureka Stamps design team
years ago.
I stamped them all with VersaFine Black Onyx Ink
and colored them with my Arteza colored pencils.
Then I fussy cut each one and adhered them to
the background paper with foam tape.
Each balloon has a piece of twine attached
and held by the little girl.
I love how this card turned out,
we love taking Marie to the zoo,
so I thought this was a perfect card for her.

Thanks for stopping in today,
I hope all is going well with you and yours.
Come again soon,
until then;
Stay safe and stay healthy!

Tags - A Gift For You!

Hi there!
Today I have another design of the tags I made for
my tag swap with my online friends.

I stamped the background with a background stamp
and Smokey Gray VersaFine ink.
I'm sorry I don't have the name of the stamp handy.
I stamped "Girl With Balloon" onto white
card stock and colored them with colored pencils, then
fussy cut them.

I adhered each one to a tag  and stamped
A gift for you!
This sentiment was from a set for
making tags  (I have no idea what
company it is from, sorry.)
onto the tag front and To and From onto
the back.
So there's tag #2 in the series,
I hope you like it and that my friends
do too.
Thanks for stopping in,
come again soon.
Until then
Happy Crafting!

More Holiday Themed Crop Ideas

Hello!
In my last post I was talking about our
holiday themed weekend crop.
For this crop we had the biggest group we've ever hosted.
There were several new people, so I thought
it would be a good idea to have name plates on the tables
so everyone could learn names.
I had little tent name plates and decided
to add some holiday themed stamps to them.
Each cropper was to put their name on it and color
it if they chose to.
Here is what I came up with.

All these stamps are available through

Thanks for stopping by and spending time with me,
come again soon.
Until then,
happy stamping!

Party Poopers Card

Hi everyone!
I need a card for my great nephew's birthday,
since he loves animals, I thought this would be the
perfect card for him.  He'll be 3 yrs old on the 17th.
I stamped
from Stamp On It
onto watercolor paper and colored it with my
I stamped the golden dog and the black and white one
again onto scrap pieces and colored them the same as
the original.
I fussy cut the extra images.
The black and white dog is adhered over the original with
foam tape.  The golden one is adhered with a
The background was also colored with water color crayons.
I hope this video works for you, sometimes it does
and sometimes it doesn't, but I can't figure out why or
how to fix that.
Inside I stamped this Happy Birthday sentiment
with a stamp that I took off a wood block, so
I don't know what company it is from.
I colored it with colored pencils.
I think Emmett will love this card, especially since it
has the movement of the action wobbler.

Thanks for stopping by today,
I hope you'll come again soon.
Until then,
try making something a little interactive.

Thanksgiving 3

Hello blog friends.
Are you almost ready for Thanksgiving?
At least my cards are, but I'm not sure about everything else.
Today I have post #3 in my Thanksgiving card series.
This cute guy is
Eureka Stamps, sold though Stamp On It.
I stamped this image with
and colored it with my
This image is Large Cornucopia from Biblical Impressions
sold through Stamp On It
Stamped with Fluid Chalk Ink and colored with
colored pencils.
Inside this card I used
Leaf Stamp from QKR Stampede,
sold through Stamp On It.  I used the rubber stamp, but
apparently they only sell digital of this now.
I did second generations stamping of these leaves.
I inked up the stamp, stamped onto scrap paper
then stamped onto the card. This gives a much more
subtle impression.
For this card I used
from Eureka Stamps,
sold through Stamp On It.
I colored the image with
Fantasia Colored Pencils
and the sky and ground with
The Happy Thanksgiving is a sticker that I
found in my stash.

Thanksgiving 1

Thanksgiving will be here soon, so I got busy and
made some Thanksgiving cards to send out.
Here are the first 2 that I'm going to show you.
For both of them I used
Large Skeleton Leaf from Biblical Impressions,
sold through Stamp On It
I stamped them with
to color them.
The "Happy Thanksgiving"
is a stamp I borrowed from a friend.
I left the inside blank to write a personal note
to those I send them to.
So glad you stopped by today.
I hope you're having a wonderful day.
What are you thankful for?

Stamped them onto white card stock with
Onyx Black Versa Fine Ink and colored them
The sentiment is
(43844) Happy Birthday Unmounted Stamp
from Biblical Impressions, sold through
This is a Stampendous stamp, but I can't find
anywhere to link it.
I stamped it onto white card stock with
 and colored it with my
colored pencils.

I hope the people I send them to
enjoy them as much as I enjoyed
making them.

Thanksgiving 2

Hi friends!
This is the second post of the Thanksgiving cards
I made.
I used a leaf stamp from QKR Stampede sold through
Stamp On It.  Apparently they don't sell this in unmounted
red rubber any longer, but they do have it in digital.
I stamped it onto white card stock and colored it with
then fussy cut them.
I stamped the Happy Thanksgiving and used a die to
cut it, and adhered it with foam tape to the front of the card.
For this card I used the same stamps and
stamped the leaf at different angles around the card.
I then colored them with my Fantasia Colored Pencils.

Thanks for stopping in today,
what are you planning for Thanksgiving?
I'll be having family over and cooking
a turkey.
Hope to see you again soon.
Until them,
Happy Stamping.

Sara's Birthday

Hello!
Today I'm showing you a card I made for a special young
lady, my son's fiance, Sara.
She just celebrated her birthday at the first of the month
and I made this card for her.
I knew I wanted to use that kitty stamp for her card,
as she is a cat lover and I knew she'd love it.
I stamped "Crazy Kitty Set" sold through
Stamp On It onto white card stock with
I then used washi tape to make stripes on the card stock,
and inked the card stock with Distress Ink, carefully removed the
washi tape and had a striped background,
Purple is Sara's favorite color, so this was perfect for her.
The "Peeking in to say" was stamped with a
"Happy Birthday" is also from
Stamp On It.

Thanks for stopping by today,
come again soon, you never know
what you'll find on

then fussy cut them and adhered them to the card.

The Baby Animals were adhered to the card with an

Halloween Cards

Hello crafters!
It's October, so time to get those Halloween cards ready.
I usually don't send Halloween cards, but
as I've said before, this year I'm trying to send more
cards.  So I decided to make and send some Halloween cards.
Not only to a couple kids, but to adults too.
Here is what I made.
I heat embossed this Sm. Witch
by Eureka Stamps, sold through
For the moons, I punched a circle out of card stock
laid it over the black card stock,
smushed the VersaMark Ink pad over the circle hole,
then added gold embossing glitter and heat set it.
On some of the cards I stamped and heat embossed
"Flying by" on the outside,
inside I stamped "to say" with the same silver
embossing powder and
"Happy Halloween"

For this card I added some
Ghosts also from Eureka sold through
Stamp On It.
I attached the witch with an Action Wobble
For this card I used the same Ghost stamp
for the night sky and added some water droplets
to give it a little texture.
I cut the curve on the bottom of the front of the card
For this card I used
from QKR Stampede
sold through
Stamp On It.
All coloring was done with my

I'm pretty happy with how these cards all
turned out and I hope the recipients like them too.
Thanks for stopping by today
I hope you'll come again soon.
My next post, I'll show you the envelopes
I made for these cards to be sent in.
Until then,
Have fun crafting!

Engagement Card

Hello Friends!
Many of you know that my son, Jaryd, recently got engaged.
He and Sara will be getting married September 29, 2018.
I made this card for them to celebrate their engagement.
The image is
from Eureka Stamps now sold by
I stamped the heart design onto white
card stock with VersaMark Ink and
heat embossed it with silver embossing powder.
I then used Distress Ink and an ink blending tool
to cover the entire image with ink.
Once that was done I buffed off any ink that was
on the silver embossing.
I fussy cut the image leaving a small border
around the image.
For the background panel, I used a piece of
silver card stock and ran it through the
Cuttlebug in a heart embossing folder.
I adhered the panel to a white card base and
used foam tape to adhere the Knot Heart to
the panel.
I love the way the card turned out,
it is perfect for Jaryd and Sara,
as Sara is Irish and Jaryd is part Irish and has
visited Ireland a couple times.
Purple and gray will be their wedding colors.
I think they will like it.

Thanks for stopping by today,
I hope you're having a creative day.
See you next time.
